"The Fates of Asia " Founders Wall

The Fashion Pulpit, the first ever swapping and sustainable fashion space in Singapore commissioned us for its "Founders Wall" to share its vision and celebrate its community.
For this mural, we created a contemporary Asian version of the Fates, the Greek Goddesses.
From the elements of nature, the first Goddess, Clotho, spins the golden thread of our precious life. In this mural, the fundamental elements bare all the names of the supporters, the sponsors, the friends of the community (you better check your name!). The second Goddess, Lachelis, measures the thread and the third one, Atropos, cuts it.
In Asia, the relation to time allows more circularity and renewal. Instead of its 'definitive' Greek version, we decided to plant the golden thread back into the Earth and make it grow again, into an eternal cycle. This concept, we felt, was the best to illustrate the game changing recycle / up-cycle mission of the Fashion Pulpit and its founder Raye Padit.
